BGTT - RC-POS Children's Christmas Party

Picture
The British Gas TT North Coast Literacy Homework Project for the Standard IV and
Standard V students of the Las Cuevas Government Primary School recently hosted
its annual Christmas Party for the children who are in the Project. The Christmas party was held on Sunday 2nd December 2012 at the Play Area of Pizza Boys Maraval and twenty-four children, along with some of their parents, were in attendance. Refreshments were provided. The highlight of the day  was when Santa Claus made his appearance and distributed gifts to each child. The gifts were provided by members of the Rotary Club of Central Port of Spain. Supported by members of the Rotary Club of Central Port of Spain, Rotary Club of Port of Spain West, Rotary Club of Diego Martin and the Rotary Club of Piarco, Project Coordinator Anna La Roach, Assistant District Governor Mr. Prakash Bhaggan once again ensured the success of the Children’s Christmas Party

Salvation Army's Home for the Aged

Picture
Completing one of our intended promises, Lara and Janice, set aside time from their busy schedules, to visit the busy Port of Spain area and purchased well needed kitchen utensils and items for the Salvation Army's home for the aged on Duncan Street. Items were purchased from Iams in Trinicity. In the pictures taken, Lara and Nanette hand
over the items. Janice and Charmaine arrived a few minutes late and missed the photo
opportunity. Well done Lara and Janice.

All In One School - MovieTowne Treat

Picture
The children of the All in One School and the Excell School of the Beetham were treated to an annual Christmas fun day at Movietowne. This event was entirely funded by the
Movietowne organisers. Our role in this happy occasion was solely to act as coordinators between Movietowne and the Schools. By the  look on the children's
faces the event was a complete success.
